This is a lovely place for classic Swedish fare, it’s really old and looks beautiful and the food is yummy! They also have a bar bit that’s popular with Södermalm barhoppers.

This is the best Indian in town! They have a few locations: the classic one at Katarina Bangatan, Gossip at Skånegatan which is absolutely fabulous, and the new one, Ultimat (in Vasastan) which was recently voted the best Indian in Europe!

This place has won some local awards a couple of years in a row now (since opening basically) for best budget eatery in Stockholm. I love the locale and the street it’s on (Erstagatan) has been really up-and-coming the past couple of years, bunch of new places including an excellent wine bar opposite.

I love the locale and the street it’s on (Erstagatan) has been really up-and-coming the past couple of years, bunch of new places including an excellent wine bar opposite.
This place is so fab! I don’t even know where to begin describing the over-the-top decorations (which change three times a year, depending on the season – I recommend Halloween!) and the food is lovely – this was the first place to do Cajun cooking in Stockholm. So much character in this place, and it’s basically had the same personnel since the 80s!

Really cool to hang out there, you get like a clip-card and a glass at the door and then you pay when you leave, after sampling a bunch of delicious brews! Good music and there’s always a food truck parked outside.

It’s not far from Nytorget but it's a bit hidden, you go down these spiral stairs and then this huge space opens up with all sorts of fun clothes and things. There’s even a pinball machine! A great place to hang out.

This is the best sweet shop in town, they make their own caramels and it’s very vintage-y with jazz music and girls dressed in old-timey clothes, so lovely! A lot of the “vintage-mafia” lindy hop girls work there and they look straight out of the 40s.
