Duncans Mills is a fascinating assortment of unique specialty shops offering hand-crafted goods, antiques, art galleries, locally-grown flowers, and more. It is less than 2 miles away, go back to River Road and turn right then turn right into the parking lot in front of various stores.
A wide range of provisions and refreshments are for sale in the Duncans Mills General Store, and wine tasting is available at Sophie’s Cellars. The Cape Fear Café offers tasty lunches and dinners. The Blue Heron Restaurant & sports bar (across the road) serves American grill and seafood. At the side is Gold Coast Coffee and Bakery offering wood-fired oven-baked pastries and pizza.
