CastlehillThis is a delightful village which has some really lovely scenes. The village is really nice to explore but doesn't have many amiantus so be sure to take snacks/ water along with you. Stock Bridge is not to far away fro the village and its a famous area for Boutique shops and delis, its a really nice way to spend an afternoon.

A lot of the festival event happen here. Its historic and has plenty of tourist attractions and eateries along the way

This is Edinburgh Museum of Modern Art. This is often a really fun exhibition and is in a great building. Theres a really lovely walk which will take you there along Edinburgh's canal and the water of Leith. Exhibitions are mostly free although sometimes you do have to pay (the website has more details on this) its a really great day out
