Great Louisiana Style food...shrimp and grits are amazing...great drinks. The NODA area is very artsy and other great restaurants and bars there also.

The Epicentre is Uptown and has multiple restaurants and bars, bowling alley, Studio Movie Grill (which you can get a Groupon for) and just a great scene to walk around uptown. Very safe.

There are a lot of Breweries in Charlotte. The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery , Three Spirits Brewery (18 minutes). In NODA there is NODA Brewing, Birdsong Brewing Co. (12-14 minutes), Bold Missy Brewery, Heist Brewery. All the breweries are in close proximity of each other. You can also do Brewery Tours, they have to be booked in advance.
