If I can't decide on where to go, I go here. It is a staple with predictably good food, great service, and a beautiful space. Try the ribs or the French dip sandwich. The fish is super fresh and sushi exceptional. Burgers and fries too are just excellent. It's hard to find fault with this place.

For breakfast, lunch or dinner this place does not disappoint, but it's not easy to find - you have to be in the know - and now you are. Righ next to Luci's Healy Marketplace, but with a much longer history this hole with no signage. The food is New Mexican inspired and fired on the spot. Love this place. It's not light eating. One meal can be shared by two or keep you full for a day.

A lunch place where I get the best made, healthiest and best- tasting bread in Arizona. During lunch they have salads, sandwiches, soups and other provisions. Very good food. A place to be appreciated.

This place is a bit more upscale, but very accessible and I'll spill a secret about it. They serve some of the best pizza in Phoenix - dare I say - as good or better than Bianco. If you love fine dining, this is a must.

More than a restaurant - this is a cool place to hang out. It's rather beautiful with a grass lawn, lots of seating, very pleasant service and pretty good food. It's a great place for a larger group of people. You'll definitely meet locals here.

Another staple place, but go down into the basement and sit at the bar. It's New Mexican style food with a few twists - how about a schnitzel? Yip, they have a great one. The atmosphere is cozy, romantic, dark and calming.

A delicious locally owned restaurant focused on Japanese and Asian food. I love the pork belly ramen. The menu changes by season. They have great drinks.

Exceptional Italian food by the famed Bianco. Can't fault this place except that it's small and you'll need a reservation most days. Next door is the Italian Resturant - still good, still Bianco, but less crowded.

A coffee shop, a bakery, a restaurant where you'll meet the local. Very relaxed atmosphere and good food. It's close, it's easy and you'll talk to locals - sounds good, it is good.

This place is awesome. Very local, very Phoenix with lots of easy food choices of great quality, like a burger, Fatoush salad for instance. Locals love it and you'll love it too. Noon-5pm the beer and wine are cheap - not European cheap, but still, you don't feel screwed ordering a glass of beer. Highly recommended.

Great pizza - locally owned. More New York style. Same as the Windsor, great prices for wine and beer noon - 5pm. Locals love it and we've been there many times. It's hard to be disappointed here - great, but not special.
