One block from the condo. The park is big and on the weekends quite crowded. Go to the top of the park for great views of downtown. Always a great place to meet new people.

Great park with wonderful views - and lots of stairs. Not a lot of tourists in this park and a favorite for neighborhood locals. Best view are up at the top. Easy walk down to Height St.

You could spend multiple days in this famous park. World famous museums, forests, japanese tea gardens all the way to Ocean Beach. It's an amazing place. Be sure to bring a jacket or sweatshirt...it can be chilly there.

The public transportation system in San Francisco is called MUNI. You may purchase a Clipper Card at Walgreens drugs (at Castro and 18th st). This card is used each time you enter a bus in the city. MUNI includes all busses, the subway, the F line (vintage cars on Market St) and the cable cars. Be sure you swipe you Clipper card on every ride. Enforcement officers will ask for verification at anytime and will issue fines in not swiped.
