Set up by local twins and close to Crystal Palace Park, trendy café Brown and Green is a great local spot to grab a coffee or brunch – and the cakes here are divine! Its an authentic piece of London. Well worth a visit.

Parks & Nature
Crystal Palace is a hidden gem in South London, offering impressive views over the capital. The area takes its name from the beautiful glass palace it once housed, but was sadly destroyed by fire in 1936.
The park is one of my favourite London parks and the staff in the cafe are really friendly! It's also huge, with a dinosaur zone, lakes, and petting farm for animal lovers everywhere.

It's an indoor Aladdin's cave literally crammed full of stuff, including books, vinyl, antiques, clothes, toys, tarot card reading and more. Tucked away off main drag Westow Street, the market can be a little tricky to find but it’s definitely worth a good rummage when you do.

A short train ride will take you to Shoreditch High Street, the hip hop and trendy part of London that has recently and dramatically changed! It combines the art and curiosity of the students that lived there with the corporate money of companies eager to find homes in the City but have been pushed out slightly east of the banking district. Its a beautiful combination of everything that is trendy and current right now. It's a bit of a secret!

A highlight is the changing of the guards that usually occurs at 11:30 every other day (though plan ahead and check online first.
Pristine marching guards, music and immaculate uniforms - in all it's glorious pomp and military ceremony.

The London Eye at Waterloo station is fantastic. Go early or late to miss the crowds but this gives you stunning views along the river and it's right by Waterloo Station.

Since 1954 it has been moored at Greenwich as a mighty attraction; This fresh and dramatic display, which enables visitors to walk right under its copper-clad hull, is almost as astounding as the ship itself with its towering masts and complex network of ropes and sails. Take a one-way self-guided tour through its decks.
