If you like beer, check out the Brooklyn Brewery. A local microbrewery with a National following. They offer tastings & tours that offer an inside look at the history of beer making in Brooklyn and the microbrew creation process.
An elevated public park built on a long ago abandoned New York Central Railroad spur on the west side of Manhattan. The park is inspired by the Promenade plantée (tree-lined walkway), in Paris. It starts/stops at the intersection of Washington and Gansevort Streets in the Meatpacking District and runs north near 10th Avenue until 30th Street, ending/beginning at Hudson Yards. It’s a nice stroll. Lots of things to see and do.
