One of the best beaches in San Diego and the world. This beach is amazing and great for families. Plenty of free parking in the lot above and a year round life guard in the main tower.

Escape the crowds of Moonlight beach and just head south a few 100 yards. If you have the family I recommend going to Moonlight beach for easier access and a year round lifeguard in the main tower.
