Fascinating historical military institute with a rich history and very interesting architecture. If you're lucky you might catch the cadets in formation on the Parade ground. The VMI Museum is a hidden gem in Jackson Memorial Hall, with cadet guided tours daily.

The Lee Chapel and Museum are a must see while visiting! And don't forget to say hello to Traveller, Lee's famous warhorse buried just outside the chapel! Liberty Hall Ruins is also an interesting piece of the University's history, located on the western edge of campus past the practice fields.
