What a colourful history this pub has. Plenty to read about the history around the walls and even an African grey parrot for company! This pub is a regular for locals and tourists alike. Probably the oldest drinking establishment inn Southampton.

Great place with wonderful selection of great wines and very tasty food. Max and his wife are in the front part of the restaurant and were very friendly. They were able to accommodate gluten-free with ease - just ask before ordering.

Very light and airy with a central bar and a big open kitchen. The Service is super friendly. Great for dinner and drinks out. Thoroughly recommend this as either a good restaurant or as a cocktail bar, it manages to be both well.
