If you have the time, this is well worth it. Jaw-dropping views of the New Mexico basin from 10,679 ft, and a well-developed network of hiking trails along the ridge. Nice Mexican restaurant at the base of the tram makes for a happy post-hike drink or meal. If you can time your trip to coincide with the sunset, you will not be disappointed!
