Ohhhhhh maw gawd! We have never heard anyone ever say that Ginger's is anything less than divine. They're open surprisingly late for the sleepy beach communities, too!

Pronounced "joost-uh" (me thinks?!). This is our favorite restaurant in all of Los Angeles. Reservations can be hard to nab but you can enjoy their more affordable but just-as-tasty offerings at GTA (right next door) or GJusta.

Within, are different restaurants: Dockside has an awesome outdoor patio with fireplaces while you eat a full breakfast or a seafood inspired lunch or dinner; Provisions has coffee, ice cream, and a small deli; and there is a whiskey bar at the back!

This is not a glamorous beach, but it's our local beach. And you can quickly get there on a bike! Stay further north in Playa Del Rey for a more peaceful scene, or head further south to watch airplanes take off overhead from LAX. Strangely interesting juxtaposition!
