About 2 miles from the house, just a superb trail, or drive. Watch the weather, obviously, but you can drive, run and hike in summer, or X-country ski and snowshoe in winter. Great views.

Turn right on Wellington and follow it to the end. A few miles in it starts to get really good. Not recommended in winter unless you're experienced! July can have a mind-blowing scene of wildflowers.
