Where to start with Rose's. I love this place so much that I hop in around the time the kitchen closes just to have a glass of wine and chat with the bartenders. I love dining there, as well, but it's become my elegant "Cheers". Amazing rotating selection of wines as well as fun, inventive cocktails. If you're going for dinner, my tip is to wait til after 8-9pm to try to get a table.

Best Italian restaurant outside of Fabbio Trabbochi's establishments (which will run you more $$ and also aren't walking distance from the house). House made pastas, large portions, beautiful view of the water. Good place to hear live music on Fridays in the summer if you sit on the patio.
