Restaurants
Bald Head Island is an intimate resort community. There are only a handful of eateries available on the island but are all very good.
Delphina's is mostly mexican food with a fresh flair. It is reasonably priced and the food is delicious and authentic. The atmosphere is relaxed, which makes it a great family spot. They have a small bar and outdoor deck.
Also attached to Delphina's, is Marina Pizza which is TAKEOUT only. This is our favorite pizza spot on the island and has a lot of delicious specialty pizzas to choose from. there are only 2 other places on the island that serve pizza - Horizons at the BHI Club is a close second and we typically do not get takeout pizza at the Market.

Old Baldy is what makes BHI special. Take a walk to the top, it is a great challenge and will tire out the little ones. Donations help preserve this historic lighthouse. It is beautiful to look at while kayaking in the marsh area.

101 Light House WyndOld Baldy is what makes BHI special. Take a walk to the top, it is a great challenge and will tire out the little ones. Donations help preserve this historic lighthouse. It is beautiful to look at while kayaking in the marsh area.

The BHI Conservancy is a great place to visit and look at all the natural wonders that the island has to offer. Wide selection of food, meat and seafood. It is generally higher end and fresh which is key. They have a wide selection of beer from your national brands to local micro brews. The wine has your $10 bottle to $100 bottle, depending on your preference. They even have pizza for take out. There is an ice-cream shop, but it is expensive and just OK.
They also host activities such as Blues, Brews & Barbecue. They offer a great set of events hosted throughout the spring and summer.

The BHI Club provides members with a fantastic pool that has a slide and splash park, in-water lounge chairs, and a pool-side bar. They have the only golf course on the island, and it is a fun, challenging and scenic 18 holes. They offer 3 different restaurants, with one being pool side, Horizons.
They have a gym for working out, plus they offer classes. During the summer, they have kid camps available. Beach volleyball is available, along with tennis. Croquet courts are also available but you must wear white.
Overall, it is a great club to visit and spend your day.

Island Hardware is a staple on the island. It has everything needed for home DIY projects and repairs, but for visitors - they have beach gear, sporting equipment, souvenirs, etc at very reasonable prices. Crabbing is so easy on BHI that we usually use crab lines that we pick up at the Hardware store and pair it with some cheap bait at the Market.

The only candy shop on the island but worth a trip for a little treat. The candy is sold by the pound, so just be careful not to fill the bags too much! Our kids love to pop into Noonie Doodle as well on their rides around.
