If you can't get a table at Francescas, you could try Kika, as they don't take bookings. Same good yummy food, but a little bit more expensive. Its definitely food you don't eat everyday or would cook at home, ideal for sharing. One of my favourite restaurants in Wanaka.

Best sushi ever!!! Sooo good! Its your choice how many pieces of sushi you get and which ones. They do great freshly pressed juices, too. And even if you don't feel like Sushi, the Japanese curry or the Udon soup is tasty, too.

If you feel like playing pool or foosball, Woddys is the place to go...They do have a great yard with an outdoor fire. So does the cocktail bar just next to Woodys, if you rather feel like having a cocktail and a bigger night out..

Pretty awesome and unique cinema with couches and an old VW Käfer converted into 2 movie seats. The cookies at halftime are another must do. So yummy when they are warm. My favourite is the ginger white chocolate.

Rubys Cinema is another great movie theatre in town. The bar and whole set up adds a glamorous feel to your movie night. Worth a visit!!
