This is the best Mexican food on the island. Love their tamales and they offer Lime Jarritos soda made with real cane sugar. So delicious! They are also located in a great Haleiwa marketplace with lots of art and other Hawaiiana boutiques.

The best thing about this place is the movie tour. They have a beautiful property where hundreds of movies have been shot over the years and you will be amazed at how many famous movies you will recognize including Jurassic Park, King Kong, and many others.

If you are taking a trip into Honolulu, this is the BEST Shave Ice on the entire island! Great selection of flavors and they get the ice shave so perfect it is like eating flavored snow.

If you are going to Honolulu, make a stop at Liliha Bakery and make sure to order "Coco Puffs." I have never had anything like this before coming to Hawaii, and it tastes so delicious.

If you have never had "Manapua," and you are going to Honolulu, you HAVE to get Libby's Char Siu Manapua. It is a bbq pork baked into a really fluffy, soft kind of dumpling. Hard to describe, but it tastes really good.

Entertainment & Activities
There are two places on Oahu that give zipline tours and CLIMB Works at Keana Farms is the best. They have the longest zipline and a great course with guides that teach you some local culture and history during your tour. Great views of North Shore during the tour too!

Spend the day here learning about Polynesia in the most authentic way that you can. I especially love the presentation in the Samoa village...very funny. Finish your day with a good Lu'au and dinner show. So close to Hauula!

This is an amazing island off the windward coast that you could pay hundreds of dollars to take a kayak tour to. But, you can also make a fun adventure to get to it if you go at low tide (bring a floaty board just in case) and you can actually walk out to the island and then climb to the top. It is an amazing experience you have to do at least once.

This is a place that local Hawaiians claim as an ancient sacred place. It is a great hike out to the point and in the months of January - April, you can see the Whales that come to Hawaii each year as well as Monk Seals right there on the beach.

This is a beautiful botanical garden in the Waimea Valley that ends at a really nice waterfall. You have to pay for entry though, but it is good if you aren't really a hiker as they can take you all the way to the falls on a golf cart. Also, a really nice restaurant with great ambiance at the entrance to the park.
