There are more markets in Margao (15 km from our Casa Jorge). Fish and vegetable market outside the town and covered market hall in the centre of the town, where you can get everything - objects of daily need but also traditional dresses, pashminas, souvenirs... Typical market place for locals, not a tourist one.
