Alejandro's is authentic Mexican food at its best. Affordable, and with an expansive salsa bar, you will be more than satisfied with your dining experience here. Our favorties: Their margaritas and the fish tacos.

Blue Cow has both traditional and inventive, artisanal ice cream flavors that you can't find anywhere else. The Roanoke Valley Greenway can also be accessed from their back deck and provides a great, scenic walk.

The Harvester is an intimate venue space located 20 or so miles from here in Rocky Mount Virginia that has attracted the likes of Willie Nelson, Dawes, Charlie Daniels Band, Lyle Lovett, Kris Kristofferson, the Indigo Girls and many more. Seeing a favorite performer at this venue is a precious opportunity due to the hall's size which allows live music enthusiasts an up close and personal experience unlike anywhere else.
