This is our café which is beside Glebe Cottage.
We serve homemade breakfast, lunch, desserts and fantastic coffee roasted locally. All of our food is as homemade as possible and we source vegetables and eggs from local farmers and products from local artisans.
Having the café near the cottage is great as you can pop by for a chat or if you need directions or advice or just to sit by the fire and people watch.

This is our favourite place to go for a cup of coffee on our day off! It is a gorgeous place right on marblehill beach. They have a great area to sit outside and gaze at the tide ebbing and flowing while you ship the shacks very own roasted coffee! Tom and Mon the owners are great fun and very passionate about what they do. Also serve toasties, cakes, granola pots and ice cream!
The Shack - Artisan Coffee & Ice Cream
Marble Hill CourtThis is our favourite place to go for a cup of coffee on our day off! It is a gorgeous place right on marblehill beach. They have a great area to sit outside and gaze at the tide ebbing and flowing while you ship the shacks very own roasted coffee! Tom and Mon the owners are great fun and very passionate about what they do. Also serve toasties, cakes, granola pots and ice cream!

The drive over lough salt and the hills to get to Glen is absolutely stunning and will lead you to this one of a kind gem of a pub and restaurant. The pub is like being transported to another time, so cosy and welcoming. Aengus the owner, will take good care of you and make you feel at home.
The adjoining restaurant is one of the best in the county and has been gaining huge reputation around Ireland for serving delicious fresh Irish food. Cormac and his team will ensure you have a lovely evening.
Even for the drive over and a quiet pint in the pub we would definitely recommend!
Also great for families as they have a lovely outdoor area for playing and welcome children. They have a lovely music session on Sunday afternoons that we like to bring our boys to.

Only ten minutes drive from Glebe Cottage, this national park is for everyone. Steeped in history, take a tour of the castle and learn all about this beautiful place. The surrounding countryside is picturesque, you may even see some of the deer or perhaps the golden eagles.
There are lots and lots of walks or hikes around the park and bicycle rentals also.
There is a restaurant on site and also a cute tearoom.

Glenveagh National Park Visitor Center
Only ten minutes drive from Glebe Cottage, this national park is for everyone. Steeped in history, take a tour of the castle and learn all about this beautiful place. The surrounding countryside is picturesque, you may even see some of the deer or perhaps the golden eagles.

Drinks & Nightlife
Set in quaint Ramelton, conways is the perfect place for a pint with the locals. It is also a thatched cottage and is so cute inside! They have bluegrass music on a Wednesday night and other sessions during the week. Ramelton is only ten minutes away by car.

This is a fantastic pub and restaurant located in nearby Ramelton, a beautiful Georgian town with the river Lennon running through it. The pub hosts great music most nights and are very friendly. The restaurant is one of our favourites! Fresh, delicious dishes with their own homegrown vegetables and local meat and fish. This is a must stop if in the area.
Our local pub which is within easy walking distance of the cottage. A lovely pub, welcoming and cosy. Great to watch a football game too and get in on the buzz. They have music here every weekend also.
