We've just discovered Fat Badgers and it really is pretty good. The large pizza's are insane which two people struggle to finish.

It seems everyone knows about and goes to Fergburger at some stage during their trip to Queenstown. If you want the full 'tourist experience' then join the queue. If not just ring like a local to order and they'll give you an number and time to pick it up (and they are realistic about the time). They are really good!

If not just ring like a local to order and they'll give you an number and time to pick it up (and they are realistic about the time). They are really good!
This is a great café and one of our favourites. They do an great range of food including amazing vegetarian options. The coffee is pretty good too.

Parks & Nature
This is a little bay just below Fernhill (literally a 5 minute drive). There's a great little walking track that heads toward Queenstown. It about a 45min return walk or a 30min run)

If you want to get a quick walk or run in the Arawata Track (at the end of Arawata Terrace is just down the road. Leave the property and head diagonally across the road to Watts Road. Follow that down and Arawata Terrace is on the right just after you get to Fernhill Road.
It's an undulating track with some amazing views across the lake. If you carry on past the turnoff down to the carpark there are sensational views up the North part of the Lake.
The track doesn't lead anywhere in particular and eventually it just ends up on the Glenorchy Road. If you like trail running this is a great 45min out and roughly 1 1/2 to 2 hours walk
Arawata Terrace
Arawata TerraceIf you want to get a quick walk or run in the Arawata Track (at the end of Arawata Terrace is just down the road. Leave the property and head diagonally across the road to Watts Road. Follow that down and Arawata Terrace is on the right just after you get to Fernhill Road.

Drinks & Nightlife
This isn't the liveliest or most atmospheric place you will go in Queenstown (by quite a bit) but if you have time it's worth going for a drink (at sunset) for the view across to the Remarkables and over Queenstown
