Our absolute firm favourite, an authentic Thai restaurant offering both sit in and take away. The restaurant is BYO (bring your own) so make sure to take a bottle of wine or a few beers along with you. The restaurant is cash only and very popular so you may have to book in advance or queue for a little while on busy evenings. The food is very authentic so if you don’t like your curries too spicy make sure you ask them to cook it medium or mild!

Our firm favourites were Hamish Johnstone for cheese, deli food and meats (48 Northcote Rd, London SW11 1PA, hamishjohnston.com), South Coast Fish fishmongers operating from a permanent stall (22 Shelgate Rd, London SW11 1BE, southcoastfisheries.co.uk) and Hennessey’s Butchers (80 Northcote Rd, Battersea, London SW11 6QN).
