Food Scene
There are a few nice coffee shops (coffee #1), cafes (coffee cake) and low key places to eat (juno lounge, pear tree, cameo club, Chaiholics, etc ) on this road. It is a five minute drive with parking on the road too.
They have the BEST ice cream ever at Joe's!! I grew up on this stuff. My fav is the chocolate marshmallow sundae with sprinkles. Yum!
The cameo club offers a delish Sunday roast too!

Can also hire bikes on the barrage and pedal over to penarth and back. Or you can get the boat to Cardiff or Penarth. There is also a speed boat around the bay which is loads of fun. There’s a cinema and bowling down the bay too.

Gorgeous park with some cafes dotted throughout, right in the grounds of the castle. I'd recommend afternoon tea at the Pettigrew tearooms at the entrance to the park. Delish!

Visit where they filmed Gavin and Stacey. Do the tour. Or just have a day at the beach and visit the pleasure park. There are some nice cafes too. Whitmore and Jackson is my fav!
