Parks & Nature

This is a great trail in all seasons. In the winter you park on the road and snowshoe or walk in. The trail goes up quite a ways and then across the top of a hill to a lookout which looks over Lake Muskoka.

This cranberry marsh is well known for their cranberries and cranberry products. They've got a great store, but also trails in the warmer seasons and snowshoeing, skiing and a great skating trail in the winter. Definitely a great stop while you're in Muskoka.

Arts & Culture

This little gem is at James Bartleman Park, a little island in the middle of Port Carling in between our two sets of locks. It's a great stop, tons of history, activities for kids, and a great spot to have lunch outside or wander along the river and stop for ice cream. Only open in the warmer seasons.
