One can get the basic tea, sugar, milk, petrol/diesel. etc. and there is a reptile zoo and a restaurant that makes lovely take away sandwiches, wraps etc. It is also the homeland of the famous Gowran Park Racecourse and Golf Course. There is also a pitch and putt course near the Reptile Zoo.
