Footscray Train Station is an easy 10 - 15 minutes walk from the home. This is a major station with many train routes and frequent rapid trains to the CBD city
Trains are direct to Flinders St taking you the busy central Federation Square, and also pass through the city loop taking you to all the major stations for shopping, Art's Centre, Museums etc.
The buses also depart from this transport centre, with direct routes all over Melbourne, no need to change to other bus or train, including directly to the city, Carlton's famous Lygon St, Highpoint shopping Centre, Melbourne University.
