Very nice eatery. It's a nice day they have a lovely outdoor eating area. In the garden is Perth's olden surviving rose bush.

I can't recommend this restaurant enough. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dinner is a degustation menu and you can have it with or without selected, complementing wines.

Sightseeing
This is a great place for visitors to see kangaroos, have a barbecue, ride a small train. It was left to the people of Perth by a wealthy businessman.

You can take the train from Bassendean down to Fremantle and then catch a ferry over to "Rottesnest" - the Dutch explorers or discovered this island thought the quokkas were rats.

You can take the train from Bassendean down to Fremantle and then catch a ferry over to "Rottesnest" - the Dutch explorers or discovered this island thought the quokkas were rats.
If you take a day trip to Rottnest, ending the day with a night time tour of the prison is highly recommended. Be prepared for a few frights along the way.

I don't think any visit to Perth is complete without a visit to Kings Park. It's huge, has great views and if you're interested in flora there is much to see.
