You don't have to go right into the city centre to experience something new. Colinton has a few interesting things to see and is worth a stroll around one morning or evening in order to get away from the Tourist rat-race and experience life as a local!

A beautiful path that leads you into Edinburgh city centre through leafy woodland, along the course of the river, including views of waterfalls, nature, wildlife and a canalside walkway over an aquaduct, ending at a quayside basin with shops and cafes right in the city centre! If you have time to spend a couple of hours to walk in & see Edinburgh from a totally different angle that most tourists never see, this is the experience for you.
