A small coastal cottage roughly 5 min drive outside the harbour town of Saldanha. The cottage is private but connects to the side of our home. It is literally on the ocean with spectacular views of the bay and harbour boasting 3km of sandy beach, stretching in either direction. The bedrooms are north facing, catching mid day sun. The cottage falls with in a small private home owners estate, is secure and quaint and is perfect for those wanting to spend their days lazing on the beach.

Our room is a private space; be it for honeymoon, couple’s time, or a young family’s getaway; kite surfers or the business man. We are not into the usual “mass accommodation style”. Curlew Cottage is located on the beach front with a view over the Langebaan Lagoon. The house is ideally placed to make use of the beach and the lagoon. Windsurfing and kite boarding are possible from in front of the house. Easy surfing is available a few hundred metres down the beach. The property has battery backup along with solar panels to ensure continuous electricity supply even when the grid is down.
