Palooza Basecamp: Room 02

Palooza Basecamp Hotel is located in a newly refreshed 100 yr old building. Rooms sport local artwork highlighting the area's beauty while comfortably accommodating your needs with adjustable beds, 40in TV's, walk-in showers, and backlit mirrors. A wide community hallway connects all of the rooms with a cozy mountain feel. Rooms have access to additional amenities. Room 02 hosts 2 Twin XL beds on the second level; you will enter the community hallway and have coded entry access to your room.

Single Queen Historical Salmon River Inn

Enjoy easy access to popular shops and restaurants from this charming place to stay. River rafting , fishing, skiing, rodeo, hiking, close to hot springs and more. History. Sacagawea was a Lemhi Shoshone woman born in the Lemhi River Valley near present-day Salmon, Idaho, around 1788. Kidnapped by Hidatsa warriors around age 12, she was taken to North Dakota, where she later joined the Lewis and Clark expedition to interpret, negotiate for horses, and navigate her native Rocky Mountain.

The Prospector Motel: Unit 6

This modern mountain getaway is opening for the first time since the commencement of its major remodel. This unique Slumberpad was built in the early seventies and went out of commission years ago. In total, our accommodation sleeps 17 comfortably. There are 4 units on the main level and 2 larger units on the upper. With a careful overhaul of modern touches mixed with a mountain vibe, this place is unlike any other place you might find in the quaint little town of Idaho City.

Tree Hugger

We named this room in honor of the U.S. Forest Service and all the jobs created in Elk City. Established on February 1, 1905 (USFS) was created during the Progressive Era to manage federal forest reserves scientifically for sustained yield. Led by first Chief Gifford Pinchot under President Theodore Roosevelt, the agency shifted from the Department of Interior to Agriculture, focusing on conservation, timber management, and fire suppression.
