Slipper Rock Cabin

Called “Slipper Rock” in memory of Bessie Lakes, an elderly lady that lived on farm many years ago. She could be heard laughing while playing in the stream that runs by the cabin. She called the stream “Slipper Rock”. The newly built cabin sits on 15 acres. Numerous hiking trails & horseback riding trails. Some trails in Daniel Boone National Forest. Bring your own horses. Relax sitting on porch, by fire pit or on rocks by stream. Nothing prettier than the night sky. Hope to see you all soon.

Hills O'Sharon Cabin in the Woods

Our 2-story log cabin (approx. 1,700 sq. ft.) provides plenty of outdoor refreshment with a spacious front porch and back deck with a dual gas/charcoal grill, balcony, wooden swing, and a firepit with plenty of cut firewood. It sits within a private holler on 105 acres along the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest. The rustic-chic decor inside combines antique furnishings, repurposed barn wood paneling, unique lighting, electric fireplace, and a claw-footed tub amidst modern conveniences.

The Cabin on Panther Branch

Drive down Kentucky scenic highway 89 South just 9 miles south of McKee. The cabin is newly built and set back in a secluded area with a small creek running right beside the cabin and a larger creek just across the road. The Cabin on Panther Branch is a perfect place to come fish and kayak on the creek. Bring your ATV’s, side by side or dirt bikes and enjoy miles and miles of riding in S-Tree Tower in the Daniel Boone National Forest. We don’t think you will be disappointed with your stay.

Relax in this tranquil mountain get away surrounded by nature. It is secluded in the woods yet close to many amenities. It’s 15 mins from the I75 exit in Berea KY and less than an hour south of Lexington KY. Places of interest like the Berea College Campus, Owsley Fork Lake, the Indian Fort “ Pinnacles” Hiking Trails and Anglin Falls are 10 minutes away. It’s a 30 minute drive to Renfro Valley and 75 minutes to the countless trails in Red River Gorge and Cumberland Falls State Resort Park.

Built in 1894, by the Lakes family, it has a romantic, rustic and nostalgic feel. If you are a history buff, interested in Appalachian culture, or just want a charming, outdoorsy and secluded getaway, this cabin is for you. Welcome to our holler! This newly constructed bourbon themed cabin located on a 60-acre farm surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forrest offers a rural experience including access to an extensive trail system that is perfect for horseback riders, hikers, ATV’s , rock climbers, boulders and cavers. These cabins are nestled at the mouth of a trail system that extends from Gravel Lick through S-Tree and Horse Lick. RV spots with hookups available to rent as well as additional cabins.
