Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

Small, quaint cottage on a private cove with a view of beautiful lake Pymatuning. Perfect for a couple or individual seeking relaxation,enjoying nature or great fishing. Close to state park for hikes and boat launch. In winter months, this is the perfect spot to warm up after ice fishing, snowmobiling or cross country skiing. In the warm months, you are close to the Gatehouse Winery, Mortals Key Brewery and Carried Away Outfitters. Our lake and surrounding country roads are very picturesque.

Relax, enjoy the local festivals or get outdoorsy enjoying the creeks, rivers and rail trails. It’s a romantic getaway for couples or to make memories with friends and family. The updated home has an open floor plan, modern kitchen, bar seating, fireside dining and gathering space! Lounge or dine on the large deck overlooking Sugar Creek. Firepit areas located on the deck, in the private backyard or creekside. All less than 5 mi via waterway or road to lovely, historic, Franklin, PA.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the screened in front porch. During the day you can fish, kayak/canoe, wade/swim or just sit and relax watching the water go by. Sit by a campfire in the evenings enjoying the fresh country air.

There's a hot tub to relax in after biking (Rails to Trails bike trail), kayaking (2 available), hiking, fishing, playing (playground in the yard), shooting (.22 range in the back yard), or swimming (in the river or local waterfall) all day.
