What a fantastic place to stay, walkable to all the main places and added bonus of carparking. Home from home, this will be my first place to check if available when we next plan to come to York. Thank you for a fantastic stay, highly recommended 10/10

It is a stunning cottage and we would have loved to stay longer than just a weekend! The place is cosy, spacious and has beautiful views of the countryside. The host, Virginia was very thoughtful, friendly and helpful on checking and throughout the stay.

We had a lovely stay while attending a wedding in the area. It was very peaceful and the home was as in the pictures. Would have loved to have stayed a little longer to explore the area as it looked very beautiful!

Fantastic house a 5 minute walk from the York city walls. Clean, lovely place with everything you need. Communication was great and parking on the street right outside was easy/convenient. Highly recommended!

A lovely place to stay in York. We love the cosy living room. A big dining table for us to have some takeaway food and for my partner to do some laptop work. Cosy sofas and couches with four big blankets. Didn’t figure out how to set the room temperature and asked Phill. Very fast response and clear instructions helped us have a warmer night. Appreciate it! Walkable distance to York town and a bus to town literally just outside of the house. Strongly recommend it!

A fantastic place to stay and great location. Everything you need with extra touches added in for a feeling of luxury. Bed amazingly comfortable and bathroom perfectly equipped with a good shower. The courtyard was a great sun trap! Buses to York city centre close by and frequent. Was a very peaceful location.

This is a beautiful large, traditional house close to 'Old Town', located opposite the Bayle Museum and close to Bridlington Priory - a beautiful medieval church. Close by are several quaint local public houses and a selection of places to eat. Gabbies Fish and Chip Shop on High Street was recommended; it did excellent food and was value for money. We took a family of 10 to the Airbnb and we had ample space in the four good-sized double bedrooms and convertible sofa bed in the lounge. Parking was on-street but there was ample space close by. The host provided great prior instructions and met us upon arrival. She offered some good local recommendations. The Airbnb was clean and tidy, including sundries such as towels, tea/coffee making facilities and condiments/breakfasting provisions. We attended specifically to participate in Sewerby 5K Parkrun, which is close by. It was an ideal base for this. The walk into Bridlington harbour is around 30 mins (1.5miles). We would stay again.

Entering through a rather modest door right off the street we found Andrea's flat to be spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. As previous reviews the bedroom at the rear of the property is very quiet so you get a good night's sleep in the huge comfy bed. The kitchen is modern, well equipped with several nice touches left for us to get our stay started. The shower gives a good hot flow, much better than the puny electric ones in most properties. We are really pleased to have found Andrea's flat and as we visit York at least once a year we hope to stay again.

Always nice to stay here. With family in the area, an ideal quiet place. Not far from the town and beach - all walkable.

Sebastian’s flat was a clean spacious flat with a nice private terrace and a very convenient parking spot. It was a 10 min max walk to the Minister so incredibly central whilst feeling private. Sebastian was a great host who was very proactive in communicating. A great stay.

Great flat, quiet location, easy secure parking, a real bonus in a city. Lovely, warm, clean accommodation. Thank you for the breakfast goodies a pleasant surprise! Helen was good to communicate with when we had a query and also when we left an item behind! Would love to stay again.

I was visiting York for the first time with my partner and was swayed by this property due to the free parking and nice looking place. I am so glad I was. The space is STUNNING, much bigger than the pictures and honestly such great value for money. The hosts, David and Anita, were super friendly, helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Important highlights - The water pressure in the shower was good - The bed was super comfy - The location is perfect - The complimentary extras from the hosts were wonderful and generous I would happily say this is the best Air bnb I have stayed in. Thank you so much!

The apartment was perfect! We stayed as we were attending a wedding locally. It was clean and tidy and very well equipped. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. Parking and location were wonderful and it was lovely to find somewhere so accessible from the main road and yet so peaceful and quiet. Would recommend to anyone.

Lovely apartment. Really close to the seafront, restaurants etc. Check-in was straightforward. The apartment was clean, quiet and well-equipped. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

George and Christine made us feel at home right from the start, they made us a drink while we chatted and left us some home made cake in our room. The breakfasts were great and we had loads of choice, we always left the property in the morning with a full belly. George’s hospitality was above expectations and he even offered to take us in to town in his own car. The next time we are in the area, we will always see if George and Christine are available before looking else where. This is a priceless little gem.

Hi arrived and felt welcome straight away .Nice area od Scarborough rural-quiet.Which I'm used to wonderful .Accommodation was perfect ,especially the separate bathroom with shower&bath.Breakfast each morning was attentive & nicely presented. Definitely book again as Sarah makes you feel relaxed &at home instantly. Is near to Scarborough but a good walk if your not to fit lol .Taxi would be a plan B if not .Air B&B for me in summer was perfect thankyou ♡

A lovely welcoming couple and very accommodating during our stay. . they made us feel right at home. A comfortable and pretty room, very nice facilities and even waited on at breakfast! A reasonable price and a great location to hop on the park and ride in to York. We really enjoyed our weekend. We will certainly be back on our next excursion this way. Thank you and all the best x

The perfect base for exploring Whitby and the surrounding areas. Helen, Nick and not forgetting their gorgeous pup Daisy were wonderful hosts. We felt so welcomed from the arrival, and throughout our stay with delicious breakfast served daily and the most cosy room and bed to retreat inside after days walking and visiting the coast. We would highly recommended their b&b, and will be back in the future!

Richard and Neill were very kind and attentive, laid on a delicious breakfast and welcomed us to a very comfortable room. The place was easy to find and ideal as a base for visiting Yorkshire abbeys, minsters and churches. Thank you, Richard

Amanda and Kevin were superb hosts with a truly lovely house. This was much more of the fantastic BnB experience than just renting a room. We used this as a base to walk into York and it was perfect for that purpose. The accomodation was stunning, with lovely period features and super clean amenities. Full breakfast in the morning was the final fantastic touch. Would definitely come again and recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful base to explore York.

Mandy's place is absolutely lovely, but even more so, Mandy is the most amazing host you could imagine. So warm and welcoming and the breakfast was super tasty! I had a wonderful during my stay and would definitely be back when I'm back in the area! Very very recommended!

Robin Hood's Bay is a beautiful location and Phil only added to what was a great weekend away! He was a really attentive host, providing lots of information on the local area, with the room being really beautiful
