The Annex is a charming self-contained cottage with private garden, attached to a historic country house in the Scottish Borders. Surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, including part of the Southern Upland Way; tributaries to the salmon and trout-rich River Tweed; and also many miles of forest trails for adventure seeking mountain bikers, our accommodation will appeal to anyone with a love of the great outdoors. 2 miles to the village of Innerleithen for all local amenities & several pubs!

A space to rest and relax in the Scottish Borders

Part of a Steading (barn) sympathetically converted in 2006, overlooking woods and fields from its own enclosed garden. The cottage is ideaI for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Tucked away down a small lane, you can walk or cycle from the door or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

Foulbog is a charming traditional shepherds cottage set on a working hill farm in rural Dumfriesshire. In a very remote location surrounded by rolling hills, with spectacular views down the valley. Although completely remote and secluded, this cottage has been recently refurbished with a cosy homely feel and has all the modern amenities needed including unlimited WiFi, luxury shower and log burners. The perfect place to relax and unwind with only the sheep & cattle for company.

Clean comfortable and chic - perfect for fishing the Tweed, visiting Melrose and taking an understated staycation. The porch is for logs, boots and muddy things. Garden Cottage is a Grade B listed cottage, stone built around 200 years ago, with views over the restored Victorian glasshouse and orchards at the bottom of our gardens. The beamed bedrooms upstairs complement a spacious and light ground floor that has access to private front and back gardens, with sitting out paved areas in each. The cottage is fully furnished and is in a quiet and out of way location, surrounded by fields and woodlands.

There are plenty of walks, enabling you to see the sheep and cows close by and an abundance of wildlife on the farm. A very quiet and peaceful location, yet close enough to St. Abb's Head National Nature Reserve and the award winning Coldingham Bay. Edinburgh, an hour away, famous for its castle and festivals.
