Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

The Mochizuki district of Saku City, where "House of Waltz" is located, is known as Village of Horses and has long been a horse ranch where people and horses have a close relationship. To express our respect for these culture and history, we renovated a wooden house that offers a view of the horses spending time at a Equestrian Park. Within walking distance, you can visit Kasuga Onsen, boasting over 300 years of history and high-quality hot springs, a Equestrian Park, a tranquil park in nature.

고양이숲은 7마리 고양이와 강아지 한마리가 함께하는 숙소입니다 ***특히, 봄숲은 원하시면 고양이와 함께 지내실 수 있으며, 고양이를 싫어하시는 분들께는 적합하지 않습니다 (상황에 따라 밥이나 물을 주실 수 있습니다^^) 순하고 사람을 잘 따르는 아이들입니다 정원의 느티나무아래 평상에서 평온한 휴가를 즐길 수 있는 아름다운 정원이 있는 곳입니다. 숲과 커다란 느티나무 그리고 나무아래 해먹에서 평온한 낮잠과 밤하는 별빛아래 넓은 마당에서의 캠프파이어, 동절기나 비 오는 날에도 사용가능한 바베큐그릴과 불멍 화로가 준비된 단독 데크가 있습니다. 중미산아래 위치하고 있어 왕복 한 시간정도의 간단한 트래킹이 가능합니다. 고양이 가족이 살고 있어 바베큐시 고양이들이 모여드는 경우가 있습니다. 고양이를 싫어하시는 분은 참고하시기 바랍니다. 사람들을 좋아하는 다정한 고양이들이며 특별히 바베큐시를 제외하고 귀찮게 하는 경우는 많지 않습니다.

OHANA is a private seaside cottage on Naoshima, known as a sacred place of contemporary art. There are two cottages, sea side and mountain side; Lani is the mountain-side cottage. Free parking is available on site. The cottage accommodates 6–8 guests and includes a kitchen and washing machine. It is a 3-minute walk to the Yellow Pumpkin and 2 minutes to the bus stop.
