The Cawlfield House (Circa 1929)

The historic Cawlfield House was built by my grandfather in 1929. It has been beautifully restored with modern amenities and comforts. It has an updated Kitchen, Living, Dining, Bath, Office & two Bedrooms (1 plush queen bed down, 1 plush queen bed up & 1 trundle bed). Many of the furnishings came from Joanna Gaines collections. Dixie Creek Bungalows is located just a half a block from Historic downtown Prairie City. Walking distance from anything you may need while in town. We may not have a view but we have a great cozy environment inside and out for you to enjoy and relax in. Only 15 minutes from the Strawberries and John Day. A great spot when visiting the Painted Hills, Sumpter or just passing through to Joseph or Idaho.
