Chimwemwe Cottage Cape Maclear

Modern spacious cottage 10 min walk from beautiful Lake Malawi beachfront. The house is situated on the top road with lots of space around so great for family / friend gatherings with a separate dining/brai area in the garden. Also a lovely spot to enjoy the breeze and get a bit of peace away from bustle of the village. Secure parking with watchman on site and DSTV/Wifi in the main house. Sleeps 8 in 4 doubles all with mosquito nets and fans. Aircon in main bedroom&sitting room.

The Cabana

This self-catering space is located on the lake front. With a comfortable double bed and bunk bed, this is a perfect family spot! Enjoy sunset from your private patio. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove, microwave and small fridge. The en-suite bathroom has a hot shower. Located directly across from the well-stocked local grocery store 'Stop and Shop'. Night watchman and secure parking on the premises. Laundry facilities available at an additional charge.

Joe’s Annex Cottage

Joe’s Annex Cottage is cosy house with spacious rooms, a beautiful garden with camping space. There’s also a beautiful outside sitting area for those hot days with lots of local games available and a BBQ stand of course for the daily fresh catch of the famous tiger fish Kampanje. It is located on the village street of Cape Maclear, 20m from the lake with a private beach. Closer by is Kayak Africa and amenities just outside the compound.

Nyanja Cottage: on the beach in Cape Maclear

Nyanja cottage is a thatched house in the middle of Cape Maclear with stunning views of the lake and direct access to the beach. There are 4 spacious double bedrooms, rooms upstairs and one downstairs (all with mosquito nets & fans), a living area, a kitchen and plenty of car parking space. It is owned by our family who live in the village and will be your hosts during your stay.

Main Stream Beach Villa

16km from salima. You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place. We are right at the beach conveniently close to the big hotels. Blue waters hotel (Indian cuisine), 2 mins walk. Sigelege resort (platform bar), 4mins walk. The drive is mostly paved road, final 1km is not paved, still an easy access to any sort of car.
