Cosy country cottage in the Brecon Beacons

Welcome to our 150 year old cosy cottage in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. We are located in a perfect location in the countryside in the quaint village of Defynnog on the A4067, 8 miles from the base of Pen y Fan. Our cottage can comfortably accommodate 4 adults, plus there is a sofa bed which could accommodate an additional 2 adults (own bedding required) Our aim is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible whilst here, and we will be at the end of the phone should you need us

Dave's Barn in the Beacons

In the middle of the Brecon Beacons is our idyllic barn conversion. Surrounded by open countryside, with access via traffic free tracks to open commons and countryside for walking, cycling or horse riding. Sleeping 7 people with 2 dogs welcome. A short drive of 7 miles leads takes you to the charming market town of Brecon known for its vibrant arts scene, local shops, and cafes, making it a great place to relax and enjoy Welsh hospitality. Ystradfellte waterfalls (10 miles) & Pen y Fan (6 miles)

Idyllic, refurbished character barn. Sleeps 2.

An historic fully refurbished character barn attached to our traditional Welsh Long House home. Having a mezzanine bedroom with a double bed accessing it via a beautiful spiral staircase. Downstairs is an open plan lounge kitchen dinner with a wood burning stove and a beautiful chandelier. The kitchen is well appointed including electric oven/hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and a wine cooler. Large windows are at the front and back of the property with the most stunning views.

Spend your evenings viewing the beauty of the International Dark Sky Reserve! If you're looking for a perfect get away with a wood burner in the living room, a fire pit in the large garden (with logs provided) and plenty of hot water for a dip in the roll top bath, this is the perfect place! Our cottage is dog friendly.

Spacious 3 bedroom cottage in heart of Beacons

Cwmclyn Canol is a quiet and cozy cottage inside the Bannau Breicheniog National Park with a pub within walking distances and footpaths directly onto Pen Y Fan. The cottage was refurbished in 2022 to a high standard and boasts magnificent mountain views. Additional views include waddling ducks, squabbling chickens and honking geese. Good wifi, TV/DVD, films and a box of games. Kitchen has plenty of everything and there is a log burner in the living room as well as a firepit outside.

Situated in a beautiful rural location in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park about a mile from Trecastle village. Perfect for cyclists, walkers and a short distance from Usk reservoir with excellent trout fishing. There is a small mini mart about 3 miles away where you can pick up basic supplies.
