Cabin M features a full kitchen with coffee and cookware, full bath, a queen size bed, a washer and dryer. The large closet has plenty of space for hanging clothes, with iron and board. Large 55 inch TV with Roku in seating area, and 32 inch TV with Roku and DVD player for watching in bed. Free Wi-Fi.

Tent sites available range from primitive locations atop the 1/4 mile long mesa with a 20+ mile view under the stars to groves of mature elm trees in a valley with a stone fire rings or a ravine side site with evergreens, mature elms and water available. Explore down the ravine while finding wild hares in sage brush, turtles, horny toads, petrified wood and more wildflowers than you could imagine all punctuated by picturesque sunrises and sunsets. One-Room Schoolhouse @ SAMS TOWN on 66

A 100-Year Old Schoolhouse near Route 66's roar, Rustic and aged, history running through its core. It’s not pristine, by any means! It's worn, and has some dust and some rust, But hospitality here is a must! There is a toilet and sink inside the schoolhouse. The shower is in a separate building close by. Heat is provided by a wood burning stove, with wood. There is also an electric, space heater. There is one King Size bed and one Queen Size bed.

The Mansion Guesthouse

It is a very cozy, quiet beautiful place built in the early 1900s along the historic Route 66, home of the infamous U-Drop Inn. As shown in the animated movie “Cars.” The home, known as the Pendleton Mansion has a quaint guesthouse attached with plenty of parking for guests. Only a couple minute walk to reach a nearby park or Main Street for downtown shopping.

Kansas Room 19 One Queen Bed

This is a small quaint motel on Route 66. I am fixing the rooms up one at a time. It is off I-40 so it is quiet. Two ladies from town manage the motel. I get up there as often as I can. It is right next door to the Red River Steakhouse and there are several little neat places to explore in this small Texas panhandle town. Come visit us soon!

Enjoy close restaurants and local amenities. Large Grocery store with added hardware also. Enjoy the out door patio on a nice Texas day.
