Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. This 2 bedroom/1.5 bath townhouse is well equipped and the perfect place to stay whether coming for a football game, swim meet, Parent's weekend, visiting the hiking trails, wineries, or breweries of the New River Valley or stopping while traveling on route 81. It feels like home!

T's Place

The space is a recently renovated basement studio with a private entrance. There is a parking place for you and a lighted path to the left that leads down to the studio. The studio has a queen bed, a bathroom with tub and shower and a dressing room area that some use for an office. The kitchen has most anything you will need. We live upstairs, so you will hear footsteps and kitchen activity. The yard is huge and fenced- in, perfect for pets. The walk to Lane Stadium is only 15 minutes!

We are a 20 min drive to Dragon's Tooth, and 10 minutes to VA42 (Kelly Knob or the Keffer Oak).

Our tiny house is beautifully appointed with everything you need to live (and work!) in luxury two miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and two miles from downtown Floyd, VA. Sleep soundly on the queen sized mattress topped with 4" memory foam. Cook your gourmet meals in the fully equipped kitchen—(we provide welcome mini loaf, organic coffee, half and half, sugar, rolled oats, olive oil, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.) Spend the evening enjoying a campfire or relax on the porch swing.

Virginia's Triple Crown Lodge (Shuttle)

This recently renovated barn loft is located a 0.3 mile walk from the AT and just off the Transamerica Trail (cycling). This secluded retreat is located within 20 miles of Blacksburg, Fincastle, Daleville, Salem, and Roanoke. The host is an experienced AT hiker and offers shuttle service to local trailheads, grocery stores, laundromats, etc. The first 20 miles are complimentary, with a $0.70 fee per additional mile.
