The Blue Ridge Mountains, the James River, Wintergreen, Infinity Downs , and Charlottesville are all within easy driving distance. A great rural location, perfect for nature lovers and birdwatchers. The owners are a resource for information on the area and can provide recommendations on attractions and activities.

Stay in the masterfully crafted Lemuel Chenoweth homestead along the rippling Tygart river. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more. Whisper Creek! Located in the foothills of the Shenandoah Mountains. This Lower Level Suite will provide you and friends with the perfect place for back woods peace and quiet. Located one hour from UVA, Wintergreen, numerous Craft Beer Pubs and Wineries. This includes numerous choices for hiking. If canoeing and kayaking is your interest, I am located a short distance from several launch sites. I am willing to shuttle vehicles and assist in getting you where you wanna be.

Serenity Lakeview Cottage

Renovated lakefront apartment, downstairs from the main home. It is located on beautiful Greene Mountain Lake with year-round lake and mountain views. Wildlife on the lake includes geese, herons, ducks, osprey, eagles, turtles, and beavers. The setting is serene and peaceful. You will have a private entrance and a covered porch. Kayaks are available for your use on the lake. Unit approved with a Special Use Permit for Tourist Lodging by Greene County.
