There are cheap restaurant & supermarket . Kōchi Castle and Hirome Market are 20 minutes away by trum and the Niyodo River is 15 minutes by car. A light breakfast is provided for your first morning.

There is a small river and a nice old house of Japanese style next to the house .The tool of the barbecue is prepared. （Please bring an ignition agent and charcoal） it's comfortable in summer as the temperature is a few degrees lower than in the city. As of 2024, mobile phones have become much easier to connect to. （no wi-fi） The air conditioner was installed in 2022, but it is only on the first floor.Enjoy the natural air. There is a fan. Firewood isn't available from May as it will be warmer.

This house is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern making it convenient but also authentically Japanese. Mountains and ricefields are beside you, the Shimanto River can be heard. The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room that can become two. The A/C is only in one room if the doors are closed. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can prepare local foods in your own equipped kitchen. It’s designed for long and short stays.

Our guest house is located in Tosayama, in a natural mountainous area, about 20 mins' drive from the centre of Kochi City. You can jump into a clear river with 1 min's walk! The building is a 70-year-old house self-renovated by us, where you can feel the old local culture of Japan. We're looking forward to seeing you!
