The Gatehouse at Mathern Palace

Welcome to The Gatehouse at Mathern Palace, a beautifully restored Grade II listed cottage set within peaceful palace grounds near Chepstow. Perfect for families and countryside lovers, this luxury retreat offers large a private garden, a year-round six-seater hot tub and strong wifi. For larger gatherings or multi-generational holiday's, we have two additional cottages on the grounds - Gardener's Cottage and The Potting Shed. Together, all three sleep up to 14 guests and welcome three dogs.

Pineapple Cottage - Chepstow Town Centre (Wales)

17th Century cottage in the heart of Chepstow, close to Offa's Dyke & the Wye Valley. Tucked down a little cobbled street in the town centre, it’s a small but perfectly formed cottage ideal for a couple or a young family. There’s a secret door leading to the second bedroom, where you’ll even get a glimpse of Chepstow Castle from the window. It’s an ideal base for weddings at St Tewdrics (we’ve even hosted the bride and groom!) or for walking and cycling in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley.

Peaceful Stone Cottage among fabulous gardens

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

Self catering cottage, sleeps 4, in Portishead.

The early 18C cottage is a part of our home but totally separate and self contained. It retains many of the features of the time and is full of character. The two doubles are a good size and have wardrobes and shelving. The property enjoys two bathrooms; each close to each of the 2 bedrooms. There is a large lounge with a wood burning stove, ample seating, TV and a piano. The large kitchen has a range, microwave cooker and dishwasher. In the utility room there is a washing and tumble drier.

The Welsh Gatehouse is a beautiful historic house with modern amenities. Imagine staying in a fairy tale castle built in 1270. The thick walls, ancient windows & steep spiral staircase say 'history'. Romantic log fires keep you warm you in winter, & the thick walls keep you cool in summer. Views from the top of the tower are extraordinary over the Severn Bridges and the Breacon Beacons (NB we call this the terrace in our description below). Unique, luxurious, quirky yet comfortable.

The views are astounding, the well kept gardens lead to a private reed filled pond and off road parking for 2 cars is included. An outside seating area overlooks the beautiful setting beyond. Deceptively spacious with a wrought iron spiral staircase leading to a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Lots of lovely walks on the doorstep too.

Adam and Melissa are excited to introduce their fully fitted, self catering log cabin; It’s a self contained one bedroom holiday let set in a quiet space with free onsite parking, dogs are also welcome (max 2). Located in the village of Caerwent just 6 miles from the M48 Severn Bridge and the M4 Prince of Wales bridge. Caerwent village has lots to offer, including Roman ruins, Post Office, and a traditional pub serving meals.
