Lady Luna’s Dak Bungalow

This romantic place to stay offers a history all its own. Built in approximately 1940, it’s ideal and idyllic for couples and solo travellers. The space, created with a lot of love and thought, is made more special with its lawn against the backdrop of the mighty Dhauladhars. Ideal to practise yoga, meditation or just enjoy a hot beverage whilst bird spotting and certainly to fire up the bbq grill. The name is nostalgic to the Dak Bangla under British India, meant for travellers and postmen.

Nestled in the quaint village of Rakkar, we open doors to our humble abode to travellers seeking a quiet getaway in the mountains. The property is a 1 BHK with airconditioning (A private living room, dining area, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, work space, and a private porch) situated on the ground floor of a 2-storey building. We are looking for peace-loving and friendly guests who will not disturb the calmness of the neighbourhood, and are pet-friendly as our neighbours have multiple dogs.

The apartment is newly constructed and located on the 2nd floor and has ample light coming through. It has one main bedroom and one huge living room with double bed. The windows offer a spectacular view of the breathtaking Dhauladhar mountains. There are many good restaurants and eateries(all given below) nearby including the hotel club Mahindra. The owners stay 100 metres away from the property and would be happy to help in case of any issues. Taxi service is available across the road.

Studio Indique is located right opposite Norbulingka Institute and  comes with a charming private garden. The space is spread over 1000 sq feet and has wooden floor, a super king sized bed with an 8 inch mattress, huge bathroom, kitchenette, dining area with a solid wood dining table which can convert into a work station, a living area and a private garden.
