We are 5.8 miles from either the San Juan Ferry or the Guemes Island Ferry, where you can bike/walk on/drive on for a perfect day trip to explore the beautiful San Juan Islands or enjoy the community of Guemes Island. This is a converted “Themed” 1972 Gillig School Bus privately parked w/ a Comfortable Queen bed, Full RV Bathroom, interior paint, new carpet, vanity, dining table, Fireplace, TV, Xbox, Full kitchen with stove, refridge, oven, microwave and dishes, linens included. It is connected to City Water/Power. Tankless hotwater system which is temperamental for the shower, but great for the sinks. You will have full use of a shared firepit, BBQ, Covered space, and shared Laundry for long term quests.

The skoolie is parked right on the Skagit River offering the possibly of elk and deer as well as river otters, beavers and occasional bald eagles flying overhead. We are close to many outdoor hiking adventures, lakes and fishing opportunities.

Better yet, hop on one of our cruiser bikes and venture half a mile down the road to the Big Lake Grocery (the local’s convenience store)! Overlook Golf Course, Little Mountain trails, the Big Lake Bar and Grill and Centennial Trail are also a short drive away.

Explore the North Cascades via infinite hikes, MTB trails at Galbraith, Skagit Valley's tulips, Puget Sound & the San Juan Islands. 15 minutes to Bellingham, just over 1 hour to Seattle or Vancouver & majestic Mt.Baker & Artist point. Welcome! Lolita is our dreamy little 20’ 1979 Airstream—like camping, but with a roof, heater, and private indoor bathroom (in the garage, no shower). No kitchen, and you’ll bring your sleeping bags—we’ve got pillows! She’s tucked in our backyard with wraparound windows and a cozy small double bed. It’s quirky, simple, and oh-so-sweet.
