A cosy and practical cabin in a quiet and scenic location on our farm, about 12km (7,5 mi) from the nr. 1 road. A generous living space, dining area, kitchenette and shower room downstairs, an upstairs loft (via ladder) has 2 very comfy mattresses and a view into the sky (Northern Lights?). The location is central to all sights in the South, detailed day trip information is provided. Perfect for 2 people, unobstructed views onto volcano Hekla and the open landscape. Two charming and cozy open space cabins close to the village of Reykholt (South-Iceland), Geysir and Gullfoss. Perfect for 2 couples or couple with children - or the romantic ones. Also perfect as writers retreat - for academics and others. Close to various tourist attractions, horse-shows at Friðheimar, Fontana, Secret lagoon at Flúðir, Brúarfoss, and river rafting in Hvítá. Perfect for Northern light watching in the Jacuzzi and convenient for further south coast exploring and sightseeing.

Secret Cabin Hvítárdalur

Perfect stay for exploring south Iceland and enjoy nature and the northern lights in winter. Beautiful cabin by the river Hvítá in a prime location in the Golden Circle. Near Gullfoss and Geysir and only 100 km to the capital city Reykjavík. The cabin can accommodate 2-4 persons. One bedroom with beds for two people. In the living room there is a pull-out sofa for two persons. The kitchen is fully stocked. The bathroom has a shower and the laundry room has a washing machine and a dryer.

Tranquility - a nice cottage in south of Iceland

This is a wonderful summerhouse which we built for our family in 2020. Parking and charging electric cars is free! This is a 2-bedroom house with a living room/kitchen with big windows and a great view. The sofa in the living room doubles as a sleeping sofa if needed. Outside we have a big porch where you can relax and enjoy the view and barbecue on our grill. PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept requests for rental if you are travelling with children under the age of 10 years old.

Bjarmaland Cottage in Laugarás No.2

Bjarmaland Cottages is your home away from home when you explore the Golden Circle and the South of Iceland. Beautifully decorated and cozy cottages in the small greenhouse village Laugarás. This small village is initially built by greenhouse farmers. They settled here because of the area's hot water (geysers). In Laugarás there has been a medical center for a long time. Owners of Bjarmaland Cottages live on the farm and run a studio and an art gallery that is open for visitors.

A Beautiful Cottage Close to Geysir

This Unique Summer House was finished in 2010. This location is in one of the best vacation areas in the country. It is in the middle of the famous Golden Circle Route. The house was built to reflect the Icelandic landscape and complement the small vegetation of moss and trees in the old lava-field. It is a beautiful little gem within a great area of the country. 10 minutes to Geysir 20 minutes to Gullfoss 20 minutes to Skalholt 30 minutes to Kerid 40 minutes to Thingvellir

Luxury riverside cottage in the Golden circle

Our newly renovated cottage is in the centre of the golden circle overlooking the Tungufljót river. There are spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers from the house. The house is a perfect base from which to explore the fantastic sights the golden circle and the surrounding area has to offer. All the main attractions such as Geysir (less than 10 mins drive), Gullfoss (under 20 min) and Thingvellir (about 40 min) are easy to get to from the cottage.

RAVEN Cottage-panorama mountain view

This getaway is very unique and secluded. It has spectacular panorama mountain view over two of Iceland's most famous volcanos and fantastic northern lights sightings. The house is cozy with lots of windows for enjoying the view. Sleeping space for 4 people, a comfortable full size bed and a luxury sofa bed. This place has a lot of character and Icelandic artwork on the walls also powerful wi-fi and a smart tv. Private washing room with washer and dryer.

Meyjaskemman Gullni hringurinn , Bláskógabyggð

Lítið snyrtilegt hús í fögru umhverfi. Eldunaraðstaða með ísskáp og vaski. Baðherbergi og sturta í sér herbergi. Gott hús fyrir einstakling eða par. Hitað með rafmagni og er hlýtt og snyrtilegt. Sundlaugar í 10km fjarðlægð, bæði á Flúðum og Reykholti. Verslanir bæði í Reykholti og Flúðum . Þegar þannig viðrar er mjög gott að sjá stjörnur og norðurljós.Velkomið að ganga um skóginn sem er allt um kring með stígum. Frá Selfossi 45 km.

Austurey cottages - A view of lake and mountains

Perfect for couples! Private cabins (29fm3) by lake Apavatn. Great view of mountains as overlooking the lake.
