On The Rocks lake lodge has wide water lake and mountain views like no other! Great for a large group with an open kitchen and living room, a large dining room table for your entire party to sit, and a covered porch with exceptional views where you will feel right on the water. Enjoy our dock by sitting back and lounging in comfortable seating, having a drink at the bar, or exploring the lake with a selection of lake toys! We offer kayaks, paddleboards, floats, and life jackets for all sizes.

Make some memories on the lake at this unique and family-friendly place. Go jump in the lake, kayak, canoe, fish or tie off your boat on our large private dock. 3 adult kayaks, 1 child kayak, and 1 stand up paddle board included for use during your stay. This is a true waterfront A-frame with breath taking views from the house. Conveniently located at R32 on the main channel of SML. Our private deep water cove is a peaceful retreat to swim, relax, unwind and just get away from it all.

Welcome to Cedar’s Rest. Nestled in between surrounding Cedars, centered in a 26 acre hayfield just minutes from the blue ridge parkway. Read a book while lying on the hammock listening to all the beautiful sounds of nature. It’s great for birding and watching wildlife. Two bedrooms with plush King beds. Full bathroom with walk-in shower, full sized stove, and refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, Grill, WIFI and television! Outside you can enjoy a covered deck or sit around the fire pit.

Black Water Junction Cabin

Our cabin is built out of old wood and doors found on the farm. Because I am such a cold natured person, I installed heated floors and a heated towel bar in addition to the mini-split and electric fireplace! The cabin is surrounded by pastures that are the home to our cows, horses, goats, pot belly pig, and chickens. The highlight of a stay at BWJ Cabin would be to sit on the front porch in a rocking chair, day bed swing or hot tub looking out over the landscape and do nothing.

The Chalet at BWJ

Welcome to the Chalet at Black Water Junction! This stylish one bedroom A-frame cabin features spiral stairs, natural wood finishes, huge glass windows with a spacious deck with private gorgeous views, a hot tub with unlimited star gazing above! If you are like myself and enjoy movies and tv, we have Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus for all of our guests on both of the TV’s. We give you the chance to get away from it all, and enjoy the company of many of our loving farm animals.

Smith Mountain Lake Cabin “Serenity Point”

This lake retreat is located 1.5 mi. from the State Park, near the SML Dam - buoy marker C5. Nestled in a quiet cove perfect for swimming, fishing, and all water sports. Gentle slope leads to private beach and dock where you can tie up your own boat. Boat rentals and public boat launch 2 mi. away at Parkway Marina. 3 levels of deck seating w/ beautiful lake views. King size bed, 2 twins in loft, 1 full bed in each lower level bedroom. 1 queen sofa bed in lower level TV room.

Lakefront Cabin w/HUGE dock- No Cleaning/Pet Fees!

Go jump in the lake off the huge dock into a quiet, scenic cove. Paddle board, kayak, float on a raft or bring your own boat to explore beautiful Smith Mountain Lake. Perfect for a couple or small family getaway. The lake offers plenty of restaurants and shopping, golf, a cinema, wineries and beaches. Please note the hike to the dock is steep and uneven with areas of difficult terrain. You must be must be sure footed and wear proper footwear to get up and down the hill.

Pinnacle Cabin: Deep Water! Pet friendly!

Pinnacle Cabin is our 3-bedroom, 3.5 bath with a modern rustic decor and open kitchen layout. Expansive decks allow so many lake views and room to relax. Our lakeside patio is perfect for campfires and staring at the stars. The large dock with deep water is excellent for swimming and boating. The kayaks and paddle boards are always available for your use. All this with a beautiful hot tub! Come on!!!!
