Sandra and Rob are always really kind, thoughtful and helpful hosts and it is a pleasure to stay with them.

We had the most idyllic stay at the Shepherds hut. Lots of lovely touches like fresh flowers and homemade cookies. Good sized super comfy bed. Generous garden with hammocks and lots of seating and fabulous wood fired hot tub. BBQ and fire pit completed the ultimate outdoor private space. Very peaceful and green, lots of birdsong and visiting robins. Great value for such a wonderful experience. We would definitely return here and recommend.

We loved our stay in elderberry pod it is beautiful & the detail that’s gone into it I’d certainly say it’s made with love. Only negative we had was we was not informed the cafe, the shop & activities were not on due to being New Year’s Eve. I appreciate everyone requires time off but we would like to have known that as we may have brought activities with us. Other than that we would love to book again & it was a beautiful place couldn’t fault anything other than not letting us know what was not in use whilst we were there. Thanks again

This was a gorgeous place to escape. The space was beautiful, clean, well taken care of and provided everything I needed. The location was stunning, It was peaceful and beautiful, and even though it’s on the owners’ property, Extremely private and I felt quite isolated. Friendly and helpful hosts as well. Already thinking about booking myself another weekend away!

We were looking for a holiday close to home, as we live off the M5 and Easter traffic can be gnarly we didn't want to travel too far. The caravan was clean and the site had a clean pool and a pub/restaurant plus close by to Dunster Castle which we love, and some beaches and pretty villages.

Great place to stay, had a lovely weekend with our 4 year old. Longleat 10 minutes away perfect location. Lovely host, plenty of information for us to make the most of our stay. Would happily stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay for the Bank holiday weekend at this beautiful cabin. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept so soundly. It was so wonderful to wake up in the morning and open all the windows, so we could sit in bed and take in the beautiful views. David and Jill were so friendly and hospitable — we will definitely be back!

Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

Super clean shepherd's hut in a lovely countryside location where you can watch plenty of wildlife and the pet ducks in the stream. The build quality of the shepherd's hut is very impressive, with double glazing and plenty of heating. Clive is a very good host and responds very quickly to any messages. We will definitely be back at some stage.

Jenny was a great host! The Cabin was spotless on arrival! Very cosy and well equipped... As previous guests had noted the bed is super comfy!! The outside area for dogs is brilliant. Definitely recommend the Culm Valley Inn! Fantastic atmosphere - delicious home cooked food - 15 min walk. Strand Stores serve an incredible breakfast and sell high quality local produce! We also enjoyed a nice day out at Sidmouth beach..

WOW- I can’t recommend this listing any more highly. Lou went above and beyond to make our stay special. The drive through her garden/farm to get to the accommodation felt magical, before witnessing the stunning Shepard’s hut. If you’re looking for a cute countryside retreat, this is the one for you. It was so peaceful having a few drinks in the fairly light lit hot tub, before crashing on the large king sized bed. 15 minute drive to cheddar gorge, and only 5 minutes to local pub (or 20 min walk). Lou was super responsive the whole trip and did whatever she could to make our stay feel special. We will definitely be returning next year (potentially with friends as she has another studio with space for 2 more people on a separate listing). Thanks so much :)

We had a wonderful night away here! Such a beautiful garden and surroundings. The shed had all you need for glamping and was a perfect spot to relax and pause for a moment. Would love to come back here again :)

Really loved our stay - Just as it is in pictures, the hot tub was lovely and Kate was kind enough to light it pre-arrival! The local pub was great and there was plenty to do at the Iglu - a perfect night away. Thank you!

Axe Valley View is a wonderful cabin in a picturesque and peaceful location - we were looking for somewhere to relax and we found it!! The cabin is equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay Alison, our host, was very welcoming and gave us good suggestions about local places to visit, and she recommended 2 excellent restaurants (the Tytherington Arms and the Anchor Inn at Seatown - both worth a visit)

Firstly, we will definatley be back in the future! We decided to stay due to its proximity to Longleat but also the coast. The pod did not disapoint, it was very clean and had everything we needed. The weather was lovely which meant the far reaching views were beautiful. Such a lovely peaceful place to stay

What a beautifully chic place to stay 💫 We loved it. Comfortable furnishings and furniture, lots of light, lovely planting outside, and all you can hear is birdsong. Suzanne was quick to reply and always helpful. We very much hope to come back sometime. Highly recommended.

What an amazing stay, scenic location , great attention to detail in the shepherds huts with everything you require for a stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Peter the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember .. A true gem in the rolling hills or Somerset.

The hut is delightful, in the most beautiful setting. It was just the tonic I needed...all I could hear was birdsong, sheep and buzzing bees - heavenly! Jo communicated very well and the accommodation is just as described. This is a luxury cabin, with wonderful facilities. The outdoor giant bath tub is wonderful after a day walking the Exmoor hills. Thank you Jo for sharing your haven with us.

What a gem of a find! Not far off the main road to Brudgewater/Minehead. Sally is very responsive to questions we asked. Go fir her eating out recommendations - we were very impressed!

We had a fabulous trip, the cottage is well decorated and pleasant,extra fresh bread, scones and gin were a lovely surprise treat too! The location is also brilliant i can fully recommend.

Second visit this year💗 This place well and truly has my heart. I’ve never been anywhere in my life that I have felt so peaceful then this place (and I have travelled to so many beautiful countries). Dreamview Shepherd Hut are absolutely breathtaking, I could not recommend them enough. If your contemplating booking, don’t think just book it you won’t be disappointed. Melanie has thought of every little detail you could possibly need. I love this place so much, from sitting in the hot tub watching the stars to laying in bed with the cosy fire lit. I don’t ever want to leave this place. Please keep these huts forever!💗 Thank you so much Melanie and family - you have truly out done yourselves with this venue. Amazing views in a beautiful location. Audrey was friendly and helpful and had a lot of knowledge of Wick Farm which was interesting as we were going to a wedding there on the Friday. It was a treat to have cereal and croissants with a pint of milk in the fridge, there was also plenty of tea and coffee. A lovely bunch of flowers by the window too. The little touches have a huge impact. Thank you Audrey 😊

The most beautiful setting in a secluded area that felt like a little piece of heaven! The hosts were incredible, very responsive to a personal emergency, great communication and flexibility as required. I was blessed with the weather which made the stay even better, especially the hot tub which enjoyed hours of sunshine. I would 100% stay again & recommend to anyone looking to switch off and enjoy a little nature.

Beautiful location, stunning sunrise over the sea & so peaceful!!! The chalet was nice and cosy, with spare blankets proved to snuggle under in front of the fire. Internet was more than good enough for streaming if you bring something to watch. Chalet has everything you need for a self catering break. Short walk to the beach and waterfall. My only regret is not bringing my wellies as my visit was in January. Plenty of information provided on local amenities sent via message prior to arrival and a fair few leaflets with walking route recommendations in the chalet. Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again!
