Nick went above and beyond in supporting our trip. We were 10 adults 6 kids, for me the old worldly feel & nature showing through every window was unreal-Every room felt unique & special. Some family messages below to help summarize the home :) •Aged 11: The house was lovely one of the best experiences I’ve ever been to, it is a massive place and it was a really nice fun place in a little town •Aged 45: It was a wonderful stay and exactly as described. Beautiful peaceful surroundings, very close to village but feels like we were out in the country. House, Beautifully decorated, big but yet felt very cosy. Everything you could possibly need was provided for. Outside amenities included a hot tub which was the icing on the cake of a magnificent property •Aged 74: Such a wonderful ambience for a family gathering so peaceful •Aged 43: Nothing like having you're own personal hotel for a weekend :) Aged 12: I want to live there, it was gorgeous. Thanks so much nick for everything ☘️

A lovely place for a relaxing holiday.

Second time here & another great stay! Tent is so cosy and well equipped. Hot tub was amazing as always & hosts were quick to respond to anything we needed and very welcoming!

The cottage was clean and just like the pictures. The cottage had a lot of cooking utensils which was very useful. The cottage was surrounded by farmland which made it very private which was lovely as all we wanted to do was relax especially in the hot tub. Would recommend to anyone to stay here, we all enjoyed our stay. Thank you

The best air bnb I’ve ever stayed in. We celebrated my mums 60th here and we were all in awe at how gorgeous and homely it was. Allison and Declan have created a beautiful place and they have thought of everything you need and more! The Old Dairy is clean, comfortable and spacious. Hot tub was very nice! We were left a lovely basket full of goodies and they even made up a basket for our dog with treats, bowls, a towel and a toy! Can’t recommend this place enough - we will definitely be back

Lorraine’s place was great, big living space and comfortable beds with an apartment full of great amenities. 9 of us across 2 apartments was very spacious. Would definitely stay here again. 5/5

We loved staying at Cat's animal sanctuary. We went with our two young children and had a fabulous time. We were welcomed by Cat and her pack of Dalmatian dogs which were absolutely adorable, really friendly and wonderful with the children. The setting is idyllic and peaceful. Fantastic for nature-lovers with peacocks roaming, Shetland ponies and sheep to see along with nesting swallows and more! Cat also has plenty of recommendations including Dumfries House, which is fantastic for families with young children as the playground is fantastic. The cabin was beautifully decorated, the kitchen was really well equipped, so we could cook-in comfortably and at ease. The beds were extremely comfortable and really cozy. There were board games, colouring and story books for the kids. Really well thought-out for families. The hot-tub was a big bonus too! Cat was absolutely fantastic with our young children and they even got to feed the sheep and the little lambs. We'd love to go back!

We had a beautiful holiday here and Rosie and Jim were more than accomodating. The lodge was stunning, comfortable and the views/animals are truly stunning. Rosie is an amazing host who greets you with as much information as you wish when you arive then leaves you alone to your own devices unless you need to contact her. Which is perfect if you are looking to keep private as the lodge itself feels very private. Finally the surrounding areas are just a short drive away and I highly recommended Coulter Fell if you are up for a hike! Thank you Rosie for being an incredible host and for allowing us to stay at your beautiful lodge. It made this week truly magical for me and my family.

The Lodge was just perfect for our stay. It’s in a remote location but Biggar is only a 10 minute drive away with shops and pubs etc. Plenty of walks near by and things to do. The lodge itself was so clean and had everything we needed for our stay including the hot tub which was amazing after our long days walking. The beds were comfortable and it felt homely. Hazel was super communicative and helpful and just a great host! We will be back to the lodge soon 😊
